Ridgemont House weddings take me back to the beginning of my career, it was only four years ago but the second wedding I ever shot was at Ridgemont House so it was nice to go back and consider what has happened betweeen then and now. Married, baby, dog, career change. It’s been pretty intense. Laura started her day getting ready at the Egerton House Hotel before moving onto Smithills Hall for the ceremony and then onto Ridgemont House for the wedding reception. The weather forecast was “rain all day” and it was wrong! Get in! The rain stopped just as Laura arrived for the ceremony and then it was pretty good all day – result! The excellent Big Big Love DJs finished the day with some great tunes. I especially enjoyed seeing the older members of the families up on the dancefloor in a big circle bouncing around to Out of Space by The Prodigy. Only at weddings can things like this happen! Congratulations Laura and Gregg, hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon 🙂
