Since 2004 I’ve been going to Glastonbury, except the last one which I missed due to my wife giving birth (I still haven’t totally forgiven her for that). So a few months before Glasto this year I sent a tweet out to see if I could find a couple who were planning on getting married there and within a few hours I’d been contacted by Katie and Stu. Their real wedding is coming up in a couple of months but they wanted to have a ceremony at Glasto too. Perfect! We met up on the Thursday of the festival and I headed up with the boys to the highest point of the festival just South of The Park Stage. From there you can look across the whole enormous site and the thousands of tents crammed together on Michael Eavis’s amazing farm. Then the girls arrived in matching yellow dresses with Katie in her vintage dress which she bought at the festival. It was great to shoot such a fun wedding where the main wedding accessory was a warm can of cider and the “vicar” wore a leopard print miniskirt. Surely the C of E could adopt this practice?
